I miss you Hawk. I would love to see your little face again and hear your voice.
You were a very wonderful gift to our family.
Time goes by so fast. Your five years went by like a flash. I'll never forget you. Sometimes the days are so hard. Your Dad called on your earthly birthday (8/31). It was a hard day for him and he needed someone to just listen. I'm glad that I could be there for him. I'm sure it was a hard day for everyone. It would have been your 6th birthday here, but you went to your eternal home on Feb. 4. I miss you, our precious little grandson. I am so glad that I was so blessed to have been your grandmother. All of us miss you so much.

A BLOG ABOUT HAWK SMITH AND HIS FAMILY: Hawk was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor, Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, on 12/15/2005. He went Home to be with Jesus on 2/4/2007. This is about his 13 month illness and now it is a continuing story about the family that he left behind. We miss him and love him so much. A huge hole has been left in our family, but we must go on. Some days are good and some days are very sad. But he is with us every day in our hearts and memories

I said a prayer for you taday And know God must have heard---I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word. I didn't ask for wealth or fame. I knew you wouldn't mind. I asked Him to send tresures Of a far more lasting kind. I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day. To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way.
