This picture was taken last Wednesday the 18th, 2006.
Before Christmas, Tuesday asked Hawk what he wanted for Christmas. He told her he wanted sand and shovels. She asked him what else he wanted and he said just sand and shovels.
After Hawk was diagnosed with the tumor, Tuesday's Uncle Bill Green found out that Hawk wanted sand for Christmas, so he searched until he found a big green covered turtle sand box and filled it with sand. Tuesday's parents, Jimmy and Judy Roberts brought Hawk lots of shovels and sand buckets from Florida.They took them to Kevin and Tuesday's for Hawk. Hawk had been so sick, that he hadn't been able to go to Kevin and Tuesday's until last Wednesday. Since it snowed that morning, Hawk didn't go to his radiation treatment, so Jamie got him and took him to see Kevin, Tuesday, Breanna and Brooke. Skyla was at our house, so she didn't go. Anyway, Kevin, Tuesday and Jamie pulled that big sand box into the den downstairs and let Hawk and Breanna and Brooke play in it.
Hawk had so much fun that day.
They didn't think about getting sand in the carpet, they only thought about making a little boy happy for that day.

I happened to come across this blog at random, and it is unlikely that I'll come across it again.
But I wanted to tell you that Hawk's story touched me... Please know that he'll be in me and my wife's prayers tonight.
